Section 16 – Meta Fields

These settings are for advanced users. Meta Fields allow you to define custom information for content or products on your site

E-commerce Meta Fields allow you to define product information more flexibly and in detail. When default fields are insufficient (e.g., “Fabric Type,” “Delivery Option”), this feature comes into play. If you are not sure what you are doing, you should not use these settings. Section 16 Meta Fields

16.1 – Field Groups

  • You can create custom field groups for different content types.
  • Within a field group, you can add fields such as text box, dropdown list, date picker, etc.
  • E-commerce example: In the “Product Features” group, fields such as “Brand,” “Warranty Period,” and “Shipping Time” can be defined.

16.2 – Post Types

  • You can add custom content types.
  • E-commerce example: A custom content type can be defined for campaign pages, and within this type, meta fields such as discount percentage or validity date can be added.

16.3 – Taxonomies

  • You can add custom classifications in the sense of category or tag.
  • E-commerce example: Additional taxonomies such as “Product Material” (Cotton, Leather, Metal) or “Collection” (Summer 2025, Premium Series) can be added.

16.4 – Tools

  • You can perform import or export operations for meta field data.
  • Import: Import previously exported field groups by uploading external files.
  • Export: Export existing field groups in JSON format.
